Q.
A.

You don't have to register with Evolving Practice to be able to search and read case studies that have been submitted by other people.

However, if you do register you will find the site offers you more features, allowing you to:

  • display examples of your work
  • add links to websites that you have found useful
  • build your own portfolio of projects
  • rate other case studies
  • contact other members who are doing similar work
  • receive an email each time new projects are added
  • join a nationwide network for patient focus and public involvement (PFPI)

It doesn't cost anything, and any information you enter will remain confidential unless you choose to share it.

To register, just click on the “Sign In / Register” link.

Once you have logged in, click on the Signed in as... link at the top right of each page. This opens your secure area, from where you can access Update Profile from the right-hand menu. You can also access the Update Profile link from the drop-down menu on the Contribute tab.

You can update all the details you entered when you registered with the site and also add more information, including your postal address and telephone number if you wish.

Please note: if you change your email address, this will also change your username.

Q.
A.  There are many ways to browse the collection of case studies, and you can access the search facility either on the homepage by clicking on the Case Studies tab.

Use the drop-down menus to restrict your search by local area, type of care, focus or target group. You can click search after selecting any one, or choose several options to further restrict your search. You can also search by when the case study was added to our database, or by entering keywords.

If a search returns no results, try broadening the search – by changing the local area to “National” or selecting “all groups” for instance.
