Audiology Modernisation in Shetland (Phase 1)
An advisory group including patients helped modernise the existing audiology service in a rural health board.

Improving waiting times in symptomatic breast service at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary
A focus group gathered feedback on whether patients would be better served by seeing a nurse practitioner rather than a consultant for their 2-year follow-up. By offering this alternative, waiting times were reduced to one week for urgent referrals.

Following the move to a new building, patients were consulted about the Palliative Care day service at Roxburghe House, Aberdeen. Feedback was gathered on activities, staffing, transport links and the building.

A thousand young people in Midlothian gave feedback on their issues and needs, and in response the MYPAS project was set up to deliver counseling and advice on sexual health and substance misuse.
